Local chapter of AFS in Narvik and Nordland, working with youth international In Narvik we received and sent, our first AFSelev 1950s and it has been
AFS activity here since. First 8 March 2007 AFS Narvik officially a local chapter. Now we are working for it to be even more active in our local chapter, we shall sent several AFS students and received several AFS students and Narvik to be a real AFSby.
AFS Narvik belongs to region 5 (when Norway has been divided into five regions) consisting of Nordland, Troms and Finnmark. This year the total reached 26 AFSelever from around the world and Region 5 AFS Narvik is this year hosted a girl from Mexico, a boy from Germany and a guy from Tailand.
AFS Narvik consists of all municipalities in Nordland: Ballia, Even, Bodø, Narvik and Tysfjord.
